Little Things...

Nicki, Safaree, Nina, and Quentin made there way back to Nickis home around five that morning. They kept her a couple more hours just to make sure that gas was really the root of her pain. Quentin drove Safarees car back, while Nina drove Safaree and Nicki back in the phantom. Safaree put Nicki to bed, making sure she was comfortable then went to go find Quentin.

Safaree knocked on the door to where Nina and Quentin were sleeping, Nina answered.

"Hey big bro, is Nicki alright?" She asked leaning against the door frame.

"Yeah she's fine, probably knocked out. Can I speak to Quentin real fast?" Nina wasn't expecting that to come from him.

"Uh yeah sure, Quentin." Quentin emerged opening the door more, still dressed in hiss clothes he had on the night before.

"Yeah." he looked at Safaree.

"Can I talk to you in the living room." He didn't wait for an answer, just walked away. Quentin followed behind him. When he entered the room Safaree was sitting in his lazy boy, Quentin sat on the couch diagonal from him.

"So what's up?"

"I wanted to say thank you for getting me to Nicki, you didn't have to and you did."

"It was nothing Safaree." There was an awkward silence. Safaree really didn't know what else to say to him.

"Well I'll let you get back to Nina, I'm pretty sure she is sitting on the bed racking her brain over what we could be talking about."

"Has she always been nosy?" Quentin asked laughing.

"She's a female, it's in her genes, I'll see you in the morning."

"Night." Then men departed to there rooms.

Safaree slid in the bed with Nicki and began rubbing her belly, praying she didn't have gas through out the night. Nobody that small and beautiful should ever have such a foul smell come out of them like she did earlier.

Three weeks later

"Safaree did you pick up all the train tickets?" Nicki was finishing packing her bag. She had six bags already packed around her, she was seated in the middle of them all.

"Yes Nicki, all four. Will you stop worrying."

"Well I've never taken a train before Safaree so I just want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. I don't mean to keep hounding you babe." Nicki said zipping her bag.

"Quentin said he was gonna take me too see his friend who has this Dodge Tomahawk Motorcycle sometime while we up there." Safaree said with excitement on his face.

"Oh so you and Quentin all buddy buddy now? That's ya boy, ya ace boon coon?" Safaree gave her the dead face.

"Ow!" Nicki yelled a bit.

"What happen? What's wrong?" Safaree knelled down beside her.

"Your long ass babies is what's wrong. One of them has there foot on my back!" She rubbed her back.

"Babe they can't put there foot on your back, they can't reach that far."

"Thank you mister 21 facts. Get out my face." Safaree stole a kiss. "No, go away." she wiped her lips.

"Did you just wipe my kiss away?"

"No."

"You did too you little liar." She giggled. "Give me another and then I'll massage your back for you."

"How bout you just give me the massage and no kiss?" She tilted her head to the left, scrunched up her face,  only looking at him through her right eye.

"What do I get out of that deal?"

"The pleasure of touching my sexy ass body." She said as a matter of fact. He made his face like hers was a minute ago.

"Naw I'll pass." he got up off the floor.

"Faree pwease?"

"Come on butterball." he reached out for her hand, pulling her up. Once she was on her feet he took her by her chin. Nicki knew what he was trying to do so she clamped her lips shut and shook her head. It didn't hinder Safaree on bit, he took the tip of his tongue and ran it along her bottom lip. Her lips parted like Moses parting the red sea. Him doing that always made her tingle in more spots than one. He tongued her down for a quick minute then pulled away then walking to the side of the bed cocky.

"That's it?"

"Look at them skills, got you wanting more don't I baby? Yeahhhhh." He nodded his head grinning.

"Oh shut up that's why I don't like you, you ugly boy!" She laid in the middle of the bed on her side.

"Yeah that's why you're about to have my kids because you don't like me, oh okay." he said sarcastically. He went and grabbed her aroma therapy massage oil out of the cabinet over the bathroom sink and came back into the bedroom. "Let me help you take off your shirt." Nicki sat up and Safaree pulled the shirt up and over her head staring at her bare back, she eased her way back down onto the bed.

Safaree rubbed his hands together making his hands a little warmer, then squeezed a good size amount onto his hands, putting the bottle on the nightstand.

"Where does it hurt babe?"

"Towards the middle, and babe be careful it's kinda tender."

"Nicki are you sure keeping them was the best, she said this would start happening." He rubbed in circles on her back. She winced with pain but he couldn't see.

"I'll be fine Safaree, it's not that serious." He pushed her back a little harder and she yelped out in pain.

"What are you doing?"

"Not that serious huh? I'm calling Dr. Reynolds and making an appointment for Thursday."

"Fine just don't do that again." He continued to massage and kneed her back the best he could. He figured that if the results of the x-ray came back the way he thought the were, Nicki would be on bed rest until her water broke.

"Nicki does your back feel better?" She didn't answer. "Babe. Nicki." Safaree leaned over to see her sound asleep. He went and got a towel to wipe the excess oil off her back. Pulling back the bedspread on her side he lifted Nicki and put her under the covers. Afterwards he took all their bags down to the foyer, so when the drivers got there tomorrow they could save some time. Safaree made his way into the kitchen and ate the rest of his chicken salad sandwich then headed back upstairs to get some shut eye.

The Next Day

Not that TM found me at the train station. Y'all are lowkey some stalkers.

Nicki was 30 minutes into her train ride to New York and was growing restless by the second. She was ready to see her family again. She knew her mom was cooking up a big dinner for her when she arrived and couldn't wait to get to it.

3 days on this train! I should have kidnapped some of y'all so you could entertain me. *Sigh* I won't get home until Christmas morning.

Nicki pulled out her Dora fruit snacks that one of the Barbs gave to her in a bag full of other things. She pulled out a Boots character from the small bag, just when she was going to put it in her mouth Nina took it out her hand and into her mouth.

"Ugh, go to your own cabin." Nicki rolled her eyes.

"No I want to be with you sis."

"Hand me that bag over there." Nina picked up the tote that read "Cute as Hell" with a girl on it and gave it to Nicki. Nicki looked through it and found crayons and a Tinkerbell activity book. Her eyes lite up, she loved these.

Nicki cracked open her fresh pack of 64 Crayola crayons and found a picture to her liking. Nina sat next to her staring at her coloring. Nicki felt like she was being watched, she figured Nina wanted to color too but if she didn't ask she wouldn't get the chance. Like she was reading Nickis mind Nina spoke up.


"Can I color one please Nika?"

"I figured that's why you were boring a whole in my face." Nicki flipped through the book and found a picture for her and tore it out. She placed the Crayons in between them on the table. Safaree entered the cabin and sat on the opposite side of the table.

"Let me get a page babe." he said. She stared at him then rolled her eyes.

"Ugh can't never have nothing to myself." She flipped through the book again trying to locate a picture she didn't mind giving up.

"Why do I get all the attitude?" Safaree asked.

"I don't have an attitude Safaree." she she said snidely handing over the picture. He just shook his head and picked out the green crayon. "Where is Quentin?"

"He said he was tired so I came back over here so he could go to sleep. Can I see your pink Nic?" she handed it over, picking up the yellow.

"Yeah he didn't get much sleep last night because he thinks he bombed his last final then he drove all the way up to yawls place."

Nicki looked from her picture to Safarees then frowned. She began shading lighter on the inside of her picture. Her alarm on her phone went off alerting her that she needed to take her vitamins. Safaree reached over into her purse and fished around for her pill holder then grabbed her bottle of Disani and handed them to her.

"Hows your back?" Safaree asked.

"It feels better." She lied putting on a smile. Nicki didn't want them babying her the whole trip so she was sucking up the pain.

"That's good. Do you want your heating pad, it never hurts to be precautions, if the pain comes back?" Safaree asked.

"Sure I'll take it." She mentally sighed, she thought she had left it at home. Lord knows she was in need of it badly. He got up and reached in the over head compartment for his LV backpack to retrieve it for her. He plugged it up and sat her pillow behind her with the heating pad in between. She relaxed and let the heating pad work its magic.

"Safaree why do you color so girly?" Nina asked.

"What? How do I color girly?" he darkened the profile of the outfit Tinkerbell was wearing with the green crayon.

"You are all inside the lines. Making it perfect and ish, men don't pay attention to detail like that." he looked at the picture to see what she was talking about. He had to admit it was perfect but he didn't think it classified it as girly.

"It's not my fault I paid attention in art class growing up. Sorry guy." He colored the stars and was finished with his. Nicki had finished hers and was now working on a word search that was in the book. Safaree lined all three pictures side by side and took a picture then tweeting.

Nickis phone vibrated receiving his tweet, she laughed.

"I did 1 right?"

"Yeah." he spoke. He watched on his phone as the votes varied. He was laughing at the comments made on them.

"I'm going to go check on Quentin I'll check on you later Sis." Nina got up.

"Okay."

"What about me?" Safaree said pretending to be offended.

"Yeah you too." She waved at him over her shoulder.

"Damn the kid gets no love." He dropped his head. Nicki smiled.

"Aw come here give me kisses." She puckered her lips. He leaned over and pecked her lips. "I wonder what moms doing right now?"

"You should call her."

"She said she would be busy all day, so I don't want to bother her."

"Well you'll be with her soon enough. Just go lay on the bed and rest."

"I want to sit here and look out the window, could go get me some orange juice please?"

"Sure." He got up and went to the food cart a ways down the train.

Nicki stared out the window enjoying the industrial view. Living in the city all her life she never got the chance to witness peace in her surroundings. Everybody is always rushing and going so fast in the city. The countryside reflected the personality of Onika, not to complicated, peaceful, and beautiful. She just sat back thinking of all she went through to get to this point in her life.

Safaree entered the cabin with a big bottle of orange juice and a long straw. He untwisted the cap and stuck the straw in handing it to her.

"How much calcium do you think I need?"

"have you seen how much orange juice you drink lately? I'm not about to keep running back and forth." She sipped from her straw and peered over at him.

"Thank you." She said after she swallowed.

"Welcome." there was a couple minutes of silence. "Can I ask you something without you getting all mad?" he looked over at her sipping her juice. She shook her head yes. "Do you have that dream anymore, you know about Aiden? You haven't really talked about your sessions with Dr. Livingston, you had these pass couple weeks."

Nicki had finally agreed to go get help after Safaree witnessed her last episode of waking up in a cold sweat screaming and crying. He hit the roof and said he had had enough. She had to admit that it was really helping her.

She placed her hand on her stomach and shifted in her seat.

"I've had it twice since the sessions have started. They never go all the way to the point where I see him anymore but yes I still have it."

"Okay. And your doctor, you like him because if you don't we can find you another."

"No, I like him. He doesn't push me on the subject and I like that. He always eventually gets the answer out of me somehow during the hour we have together. he told me that he would meet with me anytime because he knows i have an hectic schedule. So I'm pretty comfortable with having him as my doctor." she rubbed her belly feeling one of the babies move around.

"Alright I was just making sure." he looked out the window.

"Come lay with me on the bed." she raised from her seat steadying herself because of the movement of the train. Safaree laid down first then she slid in next to him. Within a matter of minutes she was sleep.

Christmas Day

"Mommy!" Nicki shouted when she entered the kitchen of her mothers home.

"Onika, hi baby." Mrs. Carol smiled and embraced her daughter. "Whoa you've gotten bigger since I seen you last." She rubbed her belly.

"Yeah, I'm as big as a house." Nicki got a waft of the aroma coming form the oven. "Is that baked macaroni?"

"Yes dinner is almost ready. Your brother should be here any minute, so should Candi, Lauren and Safaree your mom and sister should be here as well."

"Okay." he said.

"Now go say hi to your father and brother Nicki, you go to." She pushed Safaree out of the kitchen and into the living room.

"Hi daddy, hi lambchop."

"Hey Onika." her father said getting up to give her a hug. "My baby is getting big." he rubbed her belly. "Can't wait to see my grand babies." one of the babies kicked, both smiled.

"Seems like they can't wait to meet you either. Give me hug lambchop." he got up and gave her a big hug. "How are you?"

"I'm good, what's up SB?" he dapped him up.

"Hey. Hi mister Maraj." He shook his hand.

"Hey Safaree, where is your sister you were bringing with you?"

"Oh she went to my moms once we made it in, I went with Nicki to the house here to put out things away and freshen up. She will be coming with my mom." The door bell rang. "That might be them there." Mama Carol went to answer the door. It seemed everyone arrived at the same time.

"Well As soon as everyone gets settled dinner is served." Nicki had already made her way to the dining room and began picking at one of her mothers homemade rolls. "Onika we haven't even blessed the food yet.

"I blessed my roll on my own." She said wide eyed.

"You're a mess. Everyone come on before this child eats it all."

1 week later
Nicki and Safaree were in the entertainment room playing American idol on the Wii. Nicki was currently hunched over in laughter listening to Safaree belt out I'm Every Woman into the microphone. They had been playing for about 30 minutes and he has butchered every classic there is on the game.

"Wait I can't take this. Stop please." she wiped the tear that escaped her eye.

"What's funny?" he asked giving her his dead face which only made her laugh harder.

"You. I need some water." She put her feet in her pink ugg slip ons and headed for the door. "I'll be back in a minute."

"Hurry up, so you can fail at trying to beat my score on Crazy in Love." he laughed sitting on the couch. She proceeded downstairs and into the kitchen of her double level condo. She went to the fridge and grabbed her bottle of Evian then grabbed a glass to pout it in. Nicki turned around quickly to look in the fridge because she didn't see her cheesecake where she left it last night which meant Safaree had eaten it in the night. She felt water running down her legs. "Damn i knocked the bottle over." she thought then looked back at the counter to find the bottle sitting up right. "What the hell?" She said out loud looking down at her grey soaked sweat pants, then it clicked. She carefully went to the intercom.

"Um Safaree?" she took her finger off the button.

"Yes beautiful."

"Either at 28 I just pissed my pants or my muthafuckin water just broke." She bit her lip waiting for his response but it never came. She seen him round the corner a few seconds later.

"You lyin." He said looking at her pants.

"Look at the puddle on the floor." he came around the counter and saw the clear puddle.

"ALRIGHT DON'T PANIC. NOBODY PANIC." his voice went high and squeaky which made Nicki laughed.

"Nobody is here but me and you. Step ya voice up."

"Okay, okay, don't panic."

"Stop telling me that I'm calm, you stop panicking."

"Okay I need to get the bag and call everyone."

"When you're done I'll be in the car in labor, but take your time we'll wait." Nicki waddled to the coat closet to grab her big coat. Safaree ran upstairs to get all the things he thought they needed. he grabbed her bag, the babies bag, car seats and a lot more. "Safaree grab me another pair of sweats and underwear I can't go outside in wet pants."

"Okay here I come." he went back into Nickis room to grab the pants and undies out of her drawer. He somehow managed to carry three car seats, two bags, and a pair of underwear and pants down the stairs.

"Only if I had the camera for this Kodak moment." Nicki said pulling her leg out of the pants she had on. "Safaree the babies are not coming home anytime soon you don't need the car seats, so drop them and hand me my pants." he put them down and handed her the pants. Safaree grabbed his coat out the closet, then heard a shriek come from Nicki.

"Are you okay?" he ran to her side.

"Ahhhhh...No. I think I just had a contraction. Damn that hurt, get me to the hospital now." she zipped her coat. He helped her out the house and into the car. He put everything in the back of the Range Rover then they were off with Nicki screaming the whole way.

*O..MY..FUCKING GAWDDDDDDDDDDD. *RUNS IN PLACE WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE.* they are almost here....lol...Sooooo How ya feeling right about now?? They cute. So how do you think Nickis labor is going to go? And NO me asking does not mean that something dramatic is going to happen so calm ya thoughts. I just want to know your thoughts. REMEMBER TO COMMENT!
