Three Small Blessings...

*Okay so I made the story private for like 2 seconds the other day but then things went all crazy and ppl couldn't access it even though they followed and bout damn near had a heart attack and IDK how to fix it, so I have to leave it open. -__- ANYWHORE this chapter was not easy to write, I don't know about all the medical crap so I hope I did good. Enjoy everyone! ^__^*
In the Car

"Call Dr. Reynolds Safaree." Nicki was trying her best to deal with the contractions and count the minutes between them. There was heavy traffic so it was taking them twice as long to reach the hospital. Safaree grabbed his phone, pressed seven and hit talk. Dr. Reynolds picked up on the third ring.

"Why Safaree this is a nice surprise, how are you doing today?"

"Um I'm fine--" He was cut off by Nicki screaming from another contraction. He looked at her helpless, Safaree didn't know what to do to help her.

"Safaree what's wrong with Nicki?"

"Her water broke like 30 minutes ago, I'm on the highway and there is heavy traffic because of an accident. She's screaming every 15 it seems like, and I don't know how to comfort her I didn't make it that far in the book that I just bought." To say he was scared shitless would be an understatement.

"Okay listen to me forget everything you have read son, this is the real deal things are not going to go as planned. You need to get on the shoulder and ride down until you get pulled over. Tell the officer what's happening and he will give you a police escort to the hospital. I will be there within the hour."

"Yes ma'am." he hung up the phone. "Okay baby I'm going to get you there as soon as possible." He grabbed her hand and she squeezed it.

Safaree pulled onto the shoulder and speed down it. Dr. Reynolds was right, five minutes later a trooper pulled behind Safaree and pulled him over. Safaree rolled down the window and waited.

"Sir do know that not only you were doing 80 but you were doing it on the shoulder? I should take you to jail right now." the officer said.

"Officer look my girlfriend is in labor and I need to get her to the hospital." The officer ducked down and looked over at the passenger seat to see a very pregnant and very angry Nicki staring back. He quickly broke eye contact.

"I'll get you there, stay close behind me." he rushed back to his squad car. He flipped on his sirens and pulled off in front of Safaree, with him hot on his trail. 30 minutes later they pulled up in front of the hospital. The officer called it in so when they got there there was a nurse waiting with a wheelchair for Nicki. Safaree ran around to help Nicki out of the car and into the wheelchair.

"Ill be right behind you babe."

"Safaree don't leave me." She reached out for him.

"I have to park the car, I'll be right behind you." He kissed her forehead and turned leaving her in the care of the nurse.

Once he did park the car he called his mom and Nickis mom to tell them what was happening. It was their job to let everyone else to know what was happening. As he was walking up to the hospital doors a black Porsche whipped into the unload zone and Dr. Reynolds hopped out the passenger seat. He caught a glimpse of the side of the drivers face and noticed it was Dr. Crawford.

"Hey doc."

"Where is she?"

"They took her back 10 minutes ago."

"Alright let's get your babies here." they rushed in and made their way back. Dr. Reynolds went to go change and Safaree went to check on Nicki. When he got in the room he learned that she refused the epidural. So she was just sitting there looking evil out of pain. Dr. Reynolds walked in five minutes later.

"Well I don't hear her cussing. If she's not cursing then she's not ready." Dr. Reynolds put on her gloves. "Okay I'm going to check your dilation darlin', you're going to feel a bit of pressure." She stuck two fingers into Nickis vagina, when she was done she was able to get four fingers meaning she had only gotten to 4cm. "Okay you are not to  10cm yet which is fine. You will just have to wait until you are. Beside the contractions are you doing okay? No other pains?"

"No ma'am." Nicki was holding Safarees hand.

"Alright well I'll be back in a bit to check on you."

"Okay." Dr. Reynolds left the room. Safaree went to the bag and pulled out the camera.

"So Ms. Maraj how are you feeling?"

"Pregnant." She chuckled.

"Are you nervous?"

"A little." She was laying in the bed with her eyes closed.

"What are you nervous about?"

"The delivery, i want it to go smoothly. Us as parents." it was a slight pause. "Do you think we are going to be good at this?"

"Yeah I think we got this. It's like taking care of puppies." Nickis eyes shot open.

"Safaree the one puppy you did have died. Oh God who did I choose to have children with?" She put her hand on her head. He laughed.

"Calm down I go this. I'm gonna be like freaking super dad." She reached out for his hand.

"Promise?"

"Yeah I promise." he leaned over and kissed her on the lips.

14 hours Later (3am Jan. 2nd)
There was a great deal of commotion coming from the room. Doctors and nurses were running around trying to prepare the delivery zone. Nicki was in a great deal of pain and she made sure she let everyone know.

"GET THEM OUT OF ME NOW!" She screamed holding her stomach.

"Baby you have got to calm down." Safaree said catching this all on film.

"GET OUT OF MY FACE SAFAREE! I SWEAR I WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER CHILD BY YOU!" she pushed the camera away while he just laughed.

"Okay Nicki it's time to push." Dr Reynolds said lifting the sheet from draping over Nickis bottom region. "Safaree hold her hand and don't let go."

"Didn't plan on it Doc." he gripped her hand.

"Okay Nicki I want you to push when I say push, If I don't say it you don't do it. Do you understand?"

"Yes ma'am." She was crying.

"It will be over in a few babe." He kissed her forehead. Her hair was all over her head and she was sweating.

"Okay Nicki dawlin' push." Nicki bore down and pushed as hard as she could then let up catching her breath.

"That was good give me another big one." She gripped Safarees hand and pushed once more.

"Ahhhhhhhh." she screamed out.

"Your doing good baby."

"Another and we will have this one out." Nicki pushed as hard as she could, then she heard her baby crying.

"One of the girls." Dr. Reynolds handed her off to one of the nurses to get cleaned up. "Okay two more to go."

"I can't do it."

"Yes you can Nicki, I'm right here with you."

"I can't Safaree." She cried.

"I'm right here. Look at me." She turned her head and looked him in the eyes. "I'm right here, we are almost there."

"Okay." she said.

"Alright give me a big push baby girl." Nicki pushed as hard as she could. "I see a head full of hair, give me another one." She pushed gritting her teeth.

"GET IT OUT!" She yelled.

"Calm down Nicki, you are almost there." Safaree said.

"One more honey." She pushed again she heard her baby crying. "We have our other baby girl." She handed her over to April.

"Baby you're doing so well, one more to go and we have our three blessings. Are you ready?"

"No it hurts so bad, I can't do that again."

"You got this babe, you have come so far."

"I don't want to hear that Safaree, you're not the one in PAIN!" she shouted.

"If I could do this for you I would but I can't so bare through it and get the last baby here."

"Hold on don't push." Dr. Reynolds said. Both looked at her with concern.

"Why what's wrong?" Safaree asked.

"It hasn't dropped down from its position, this might be one of the rare moments in pregnancy."

"What does that mean?" Nicki asked.

"I think it might of fell asleep."

"It can do that while in active labor?" Safaree questioned.

"Well wake it up." Nicki said through her gritted teeth. Dr. Reynolds took off her gloves and placed her hands on both sides of Nickis stomach and shook it really quickly. Nicki felt a weird movement in her stomach then felt something pressing against her bladder. "I think it's down." the doctor put on more gloves and went back down.

"Okay push." Nicki gripped Safarees hands and pushed. "Again." She gave it all she could then heard her baby crying. "Half way out, I just need a small push." She gave her what she asked for and the final triplet had made it into the world.

"What is it?" Safaree asked anxiously.

"Say hello to your baby boy." Safarees jaw dropped. he went down and looked and sure enough he had a son.

"Nicki we have a baby boy."

"I heard." She said crying happy tears that she had brought all three in with limited complications. The baby boy was handed over to get cleaned up. Safaree went back up to Nicki who looked drained.

"You did so good today. Thank you." He kissed her on the lips.

"For what babe?"

"For giving me our kids."

"Go look at them, tell me what they look like."

"Okay."

Safaree Looked around the nurse with his video camera. He marveled at the little lives before him.

"Do you want to cut the umbilical cords Safaree?" April asked.

"Sure." He took the the scissors from her hand and cut one of the girls first, then he moved to the next one, April handed him new pair of scissors and he cut the second girl. He moved to the little boy, he was fascinated because he, unlike the girls, had stopped crying and was calm. He grabbed the new scissors and cut his.

"Are they funny looking Safaree?" Nicki asked.

"No they are beautiful, like you." Nicki smiled at his comment as Dr. Reynolds finished up on her below, she had just got the afterbirth out and was now stitching her up. She would repeatedly keep checking her fundus (the top of her Uterus) to make sure it stays firm and also check for bleeding. Safaree couldn't take his eyes off the babies.

"Faree go tell everyone their here." April had gotten the girls dressed and settled.

"Okay, give me a minute." He filmed them a little longer, then walked out into the waiting room for the expecting family. "Their here." The room erupted with cheers and applause.

"What is the third baby Safaree?" Mrs. Carol asked. The room fell quiet again.

"I have a little coon to raise." The room went crazy again. His boys were dapping him up and the grandmothers were crying.

"Carol you go on back and check on Nicki." Ms. Samuels said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes go check on your baby." they hugged each other then she walked out the room.

"My baby has his own babies now." she started to tear up.

"Mom please don't start the water works. They are so beautiful mom, I can't wait for you to see them. My little man is handsome like his daddy."

"Let's just hope he doesn't have your head."

"He just might because Nicki screamed the loudest pushing him through." The room erupted in laughter. "Well I'll be back, I have to go check on the fam." he kissed his mothers cheek then left out the room. He walked back and seen Mrs. Carol getting her gown put on. He waited then walked in with her. Nicki looked up and smiled at the sight of her mom, then her mom burst into tears which made her tear up.

"Mom I'm a mommy now." she choked out.

"I see Nicki." She walked up and kissed her on the cheek

"Okay daddy, which one do you want first?" April asked.

"Safaree can I hold my grandson?"

"Sure mama Carol." He walked over and picked up the sleeping baby and handed him over. April handed one of the girls to Nicki and the other nurse gave the other girl to Safaree. The two surrounded Nicki so Nicki so she could see them all.

Safaree held her little body close to his."Hi baby girl." She nestled into his chest. "You're so beautiful." He whispered. Nicki took in the scene before her. She had never seen him this way not even with her. April picked up the camera and got it on film. Nicki was in awe that she was holding her baby girl.

"He is a handsome little one." Her mom said playing with his fingers.

"I can't believe he gave me another boy." Nicki said not meaning to say it out loud. Safaree and Mrs. Carol locked eyes but didn't address it.

"Nicki I hate to interrupt but I need names for them so we can get them into the system and everything."

"Oh your fine. Um Safaree which girl gets which name?"

"Just pick babe." He never took his eyes off his baby girl.

"I want to call this one Zaria Chanel Samuels."

"Okay." April put a pink band around Zarias ankle. "And that little one over there?"

"This one here is Daria Rea Samules." Safaree said. April put a purple band around her leg.

"And the little man?"

"Ethan Lloyd Samuel." Mrs. Maraj Said.

"Alright, well I leave you now. Congratulations Nicki."

"Thank you April, for everything." April left out the room. It was quiet as the three marveled at the babies. Mama Carol looked up and studied both Safaree and Nicki.

"Look at you too. It seems like only yesterday you two were seating in my front room going on about your lives after you graduated, now look at you, you're parents." she smiled. Nicki and Safaree looked at each other. Just then a couple of nurses came into the room.

"Okay It's time for the mother to get her rest, so we are going to take the babies into the nursery with the others. Once it's time to feed them we will bring them back one at a time."

"Oh okay. By babies." Nicki gave each one a kiss before they were whisked away."

"The rest of your family can come look at the babies through the window if they would like." one of the nurses said.

"Okay, well I'll go tell them and let you to have some privacy. Congratulations baby girl." Mrs. Carol kissed Nicki on the cheek.

"See you later mom." she watched her mom leave the room. "Come lay with me babe." Nicki scooted over and made room for him, he eased in beside her. Nicki was exhausted from her 15 hours of labor.

"I'm so proud of you. It was amazing watching you bring new life into the world. It was one of your most beautiful moments." He wrapped his arm around  her and she nestled into his arms. "They are amazing already babe."

"I know Faree." she quietly stated, she was drifting off.

"Today was crazy."

"Mmhmm."

"Are you gonna give me more babies?"

"Mmhmm." she was slipping deeper into her sleep.

"Get your sleep babe." he kissed her forehead and laid with her.

"Adian? Aidan?"


"Mommy? Mommy where are you?"


"Here, I'm here Adian."


Nicki walked into the all to familiar room but this time Adian was standing next to a man. She couldn't make out the mans face.


"Aidan who is that?"


"Don't worry mommy, I'm going with him now."


"But Aidan--"


"Let me go mommy, everything is going to be fine."


A light appeared above Adian and the man, the man pulled Adian toward him.


"WAIT!"


"Let go mommy, everything will be fine now. Tell my sisters and brothers I love them."


"Aidan." she cried out for him.


She watched him and the man slowly disappear into the air and the light fade.


Safaree watched and listened as she mumbled Adians name.

"I love you forever baby." she said then snuggled closer to Safaree.

Two Hours Later
Both Safaree and Nicki had rested and were now siting in the room with Zaria and Daria. All babies had been cleaned and bathed. Zaria cam in at 6lb 8oz 18in long. Daria came in at 6lb 11oz 15in long. And Ethan came in at 7lb 10oz 21in long. Nicki was feeding Daria while Safaree tried to wake up Zaria.

"Leave her alone Safaree."

"I just want to see what her eyes look like. Sorry guy."

"Let my baby rest."

"Fine." He sat back further on the couch and turned on the television.

'There are reports that rapper Nicki Minaj has just given birth to her triplets. This birth was more anticipated then Beyonce and Jay-z birth." the reporter said into the camera.

"How did they find out?"

"People saw you come in so they probably called everyone they knew, you know word travels fast." he said poking Zaria on the low trying to wake her without Nicki seeing.

"Turn it please." he turned until he found Law & Order, it was slowly becoming Nickis obsession. "Okay this one fell asleep." She covered herself back up and wiped Darias mouth. "Can you go tell April to bring me Ethan?" As Safaree was getting up April walked through the door with a screaming Ethan.

"He is hungry and is not shy about letting us know." Safaree put Zaria in her crib and took Daria from Nicki. Once Ethan was in his mothers arms he quieted down and latched on to her breast.

"You were hungry man?" she spoke to Ethan. He had his eyes slightly open and she could tell that he had a lightish brown eye color. "Oh I see I'm going to have to beat these girls off you." she smiled and he gave a small one back.

"Why you say that?" Safaree asked.

"His eyes are pretty." Safarees jaw dropped.

"Hey you." he poked Daria. "Why can't you open your eyes like your brother over there? What tip guy?"

"Hey don't poke her." Just then Mama Maraj and Mama Samules walked in with Candi, Nina, and Lauren. "Hi you guys." Nicki said.

"Hows the new mommy?" Nina asked.

"Tired but I'm having fun bonding with the kids."

"Bonding? All they do is sleep." Safaree said.

"Shut up SB." Candi said.

"Look at this one over here." Nina was staring at Zaria. She had her hand by her head and it look like she was striking a pose in her sleep. "Oh she is going to be a D.I.V.A. like her mama." She snapped a picture.

"I'm nobodies D.I.V.A." Nicki said. Ethan had stopped eating but was looking up at Nicki.

"Well we just wanted to come and tell you we were leaving but would be back in a couple of hours." Ms. Samules said picking up Daria out of Safarees arms.

"Sure, yeah go. You have been here since yesterday go get some rest. We will be fine for a couple of hours with out you."

"I'll bring your brother back, he was throwing a fit because he hasn't seen you yet but he fell asleep so daddy took him home."

"Aww lambchop."

"So see you in a few."

"Alright. Bye you guys." Safarees mother put Daria in the crib next to her sister then left.

"Safaree--" she stopped when she noticed he was nodding off. She new he needed to get some rest. "Safaree!" She shouted.

"Huh? What, I'm up. What's wrong? The babies okay?"

"Yes they are fine. Why don't you go catch up with them and get Nina to drive the car back so you can get some sleep."

"I'm good Nicki, I don't want to leave you."

"I will be fine, go get some sleep. Do it for me and my peace of mind."

"Okay, but I'll be back in a hour." he stood up stretching.

"That's fine." she knew once his head hit that pillow he would be out for hours. He kissed her and the babies, grabbed his coat and left.

"Welp I guess that just leaves me and you little man. You seem to be the only one that can hang, your sisters eat and go right to sleep like their daddy." she put her finger in his hand and he squeezed it. "You're so beautiful Ethan and I love you and your sisters so much. I'm gonna try my best to be the greatest mommy to you three. I know I'll make mistakes along the way but I'm learning. I'm going to give you a good life. Just remember that mommy will always love you no matter what, okay?" he just laid there in her arms staring back then grinned. "You're so goofy." she laughed. She sat there talking to him until he fell asleep.

Like I said I don't know much about the whole birthing process so I might have skipped some stuff but you know what GET OVER IT! lmaoooo I really want comments on this one, tell me how you think I did.
