"We really doing this Nicki?" Safaree asked once again.

"If your gonna be a wuss about it then we can just go back to the room." Nicki said backing away from Safaree.

"Comeback here." he said grabbing her wrist. "Where you think you going?" he bent down and put his face in hers while grabbing her ass. She smiled big.

"When the hell did she get so fast?" Nicki made it back to their hotel five minutes before Safaree got there. He stopped and tried to catch his breath. They got on the elevator and Nicki began kissing SB. "Are you serious after all that running and getting caught you still want to get down?" Safaree asked in disbelief.

"Hell yea getting caught made it even more exciting." She smiled at him.

"Aw hell are you one of them adrenalin junkies?" he asked. Nicki giggled.

"And what if I am?" she asked as the doors opened. She pulled him towards their door. "Hurry up and open it."

"Don't rush me woman." SB said getting the key out of his pocket. When he did open it Nicki pushed him in the room. He dropped the stuff he was carrying on the floor. He followed Nicki into the bedroom. She opened the balcony doors so she could hear the rain better. They kept the lights off so the only light was when lighting stuck and illuminated the room. Nicki tugged at Safarees pants and pulled them and his boxers down. She pushed him back onto the bed and reached over in her stash of condoms and pulled out a glow in the dark one and placed it over him.

"Now where were we?" She said mounting him. Her eyes rolled back. "Mmmm yea right there."

"So we are going to the carnival today right?" Nicki asked SB while they were still laying in the bed. Safaree at the foot of the bed looking up at Nicki massaging her feet. He nodded his head. Nicki looked towards the balcony which was still open from last night. "Its funny how just a few hours ago how mother nature was doing damage out side now its all peaceful and calm." Nicki laid her head back and enjoyed her foot massage.

"Reminds me of a certain female rapper I know." Safaree said not meaning to say it out loud. Nicki opened one of her eyes and wiggled her foot out of his grasp. He looked at her and realized he said it out loud.

"Fuck you Safaree." Nicki said covering up her body with the covers.

"I'm sorry babe. I shouldn't have said that." he said trying to touch her legs under the cover.

"But you meant it Safaree." Nicki said with an attitude. He got quiet. She then realized that she was doing exactly what he said she does. She peeked her head out from under the covers, he was staring back smiling at her. "Shut up and wipe that stupid grin off your face." she said laughing.

"I'm sorry Nic." she crawled down to him letting the sheets fall from her naked body and kissed him.

"It's okay babe. I know how I can be at times. Now let's get some sleep before we have to get up because i'm riding every ride there."

"And you call me a big kid." He snuggled up against her and they drifted off.

"Yo Nic you wanna get on the swings next?" Nicki looked over at what he was talking about while stuffing the pink cotton candy in her mouth. She had bags and bags full of candy. They had hit up the candy store on their was to the carnival.

"Mmhhmm." was all she could manage.

"You did not have to buy 3 cotton candies fatty. And Tony is going to kick your butt when we get back home." Nicki frowned and put more in her mouth.

"Nuh uh because ima work it off before I see him." She said.

"How is that?" Safaree said handing the man their tickets to get on the ride.

"If your lucky you will see tonight." she said winking at him and sitting her stuff down. He shook his head.

"Babe your some type of freak." They sat in the swing and strapped themselves in. Nicki was in the swing in front of Safaree. The swing started to go round and round then it got higher off the ground. Nicki was loving it. When they came down Nicki was pumped and ready to ride again. Safaree on the other hand didn't feel so good. "Nicki lets sit down for a minute." Nicki started to protest until she seen his face.

"Okay hunnie." She lead him over to a picnic table and they sat down. Nicki looked around at the people. They were all so happy and enjoying life. She looked over at Safaree and he wasn't looking to good. "What's the matter Faree?" She asked stroking his cheek while his head laid on his arms.

"It's my stomach. It's cramping up and doing something weird." He had a pained look on his face.

"Let's go back to the room so you can lay down."

"No you have been looking forward to this since you found out about it. I want you to have fun." he said trying to make himself look better but when a pain went through his stomach he threw his arm across it and winced.

"You are more important to me than this carnival Safaree. Now let's go." She put his arm around her neck and helped him back to the room. Once there she laid him on the bed and took off his shoes and chains. He laid in the bed tossing and turning. She felt so helpless she wanted to make it better for him. If she could she would take on the burden of whatever it was, she was just that kind of person. She didn't want to see someone she loved in pain. She laid next to him and rubbed his stomach. He shot up from the bed and ran into the bathroom and slammed the door behind him. For the longest Nicki didn't hear anything so she went to knock on the door. "You okay Safaree?" she stood there and waited on a reply. "Safaree?" she turned the knob and walked in and saw his shorts and underwear by the tub.

"You shouldn't have came in here." She looked over at Safaree who was sitting on the toilet with his elbow propped up on his knee with his head in his hand.

"Well why didn't you answer me?" she asked.

"I was concentrating."

"On wha..." Nicki stopped when she smelled something so foul. She covered her nose and looked at Safaree. "Oh babe........... You stink." She had a funky look on her face

"I told you you shouldn't have come in here." He said not changing his facial expression.

"What did you eat?" she ran out to get fresh air.

"I think its all this Caribbean food." Nicki laughed at him and his nonchalant tone. She went and got the Pepto-Bismol out of her bag. She took a deep breath and entered the bathroom handing it to him and then swiftly exiting and closing the door behind her. Ten minutes later she heard the toilet flush and the shower turn on. She was glad because that smell was not of this earth.

"All clean." Safaree said walking back in the room 20 minutes later. He saw Nicki was on her phone and he gave her a pissed off look. She saw this and frowned.

"Your so goofy. And i'll make sure to do that when I get home. Okay MOMMY i'll talk to you when I get back home. I love you too, bye." Nicki hung up the phone. Safarees expression changed when she said mommy.  "See over there getting all worked up for no reason. I told you no business on this trip and I meant it. But i had to let my mom know we were doing good and it turns out she actually had some things to tell me." She said moving towards him on the bed and handing him the phone back.

"How did you figure out the code to the safe." Nicki raised one eyebrow.

"I'll never tell." she giggled and picked up her magazine off his nightstand. "You smell SO much better SB." Nicki said flipping through pages.

"Why thank you." SB said falling onto the bed in his towel and pulling Nicki close.

"EWWLLL Faree don't touch me after what you did in that bathroom." Nicki said. He snuggled up to her chest and closed his eyes.

"But my Butts clean now babe."

"You straight disrespected that toilet." He laughed.

"A little bit."

"No, more like a lot-a-bit. What did you eat?" she said stroking the back of his head.

"I ate some of my candy, those Nachos w/ Jalapenos, that funnel cake w/ strawberries & powdered sugar, and that hot dog and hamburger."

"The hamburger is probably what did it. I told you it tasted funny. But you NEVER listen to Onika do you?" He shook his head no.

"And this is why you always get fucked in the end."

"PAUZ." they broke out into laughter. "Babe how many more days we got left here?" SB asked.

"Two more. You ready to be back home?" Nicki asked.

"Yes. This place is nice but I miss L.A." he said. "What i am going to miss about this place is just having you all to myself with no one around you every 2 seconds pulling you away to do something."

"Babe I know it's hard on you, it's hard on me too. But i will promise you this at least 1 night out of the week  is all yours. We will do whatever we want, nobody else. Just me and you, no distractions. Deal?" Nicki asked.

"Deal. Let's take a little nap." SB said.

"How bout you take a nap and I go do something with my life." Nicki said pushing him off her.

"No! Stay here with me." he tried pulling her back but she worked her way out of his grasp.

"Nope, i'm going for a run. I feel like i'm five pounds heavier then when I left." Nicki said walking over to the mirror lifting her shirt. She pushed her stomach out and rubbed her hand over her stomach. Safaree gazed at her and thought to himself that she would be so beautiful pregnant. She looked at him through the mirror and read his mind she quickly pulled her shirt down. She was not ready for children. She grabbed her clothes and went into the bathroom and changed. She came out and put on her running shoes. "I'm going to run down the beach. I should be back in a hour.

Nicki stretched before she took off down the beach. Once she got into her groove she let her mind wonder. She started thinking about her relationship with Safaree. She was trying to picture a future with him, she loved him dearly and would do anything for him. She just didn't know if she was in love with him. Nicki knew that he was in love with her and she did not want to cause Safaree in pain if she stayed in this relationship and never progressed to the level he was on. Nicki was now sprinting down the beach with tears streaming down her face. She remembered the look on his face the day in the hotel when she told him they couldn't be more than friends and she vowed to herself that she would never again be the cause of that face. She stared to slow down and really think about the situation. She turned around and began to walk back towards the hotel. When she got back to the hotel she stopped at the computer and hopped on the internet and booked the earliest flight of the Island. She went and got on the elevator and rode it up crying the entire time. When she entered the room she went straight to the closet and grabbed some clothes. She went and took a quick shower. When she got out Safaree was still sleep. She went into the closet and grabbed all her suit cases and began packing. She looked over at the bed and Safaree was stirring but she didn't stop packing. He woke up and looked over at her and noticed what she was frantically doing. He hopped up and walked quickly to her side.

"What are you doing Nicki? Have you been crying?" Safaree asked pulling her face up to look at her but received no answer. She just pushed his hand away. She couldn't muster up the words to tell him that she was leaving him and could no longer be in a relationship with him. "Nicki why are you packing?" Still no answer. She just moved around him and kept getting her things letting tears fall. "Baby what happened?" Again no response. "Onika!" he shouted she stopped.

"I can't do this anymore." she said avoiding eye contact.

"Can't do what anymore?"

"You! Me! Us!" she said crying.

"What? Why?"

"Safaree it's just best for you okay. You don't want me. I'm not the girl for you." She said continuing to walk around the room grabbing things.

"How are you going to tell ME what's best for me, and what I want? What's making you act this way?"

"I'm not in love with you Safaree, and i'm not sure I could ever be." she said stopping and making eye contact this time. "I don't want to string you along and get further into this relationship and realize I won't ever be IN love with you." she said.

"Onika we haven't been dating that long. This is new to you I would't expect you to be IN love with me like I am with you right now. I have been loving you for years. Baby please don't leave me." Safaree said pleading.

"No Safaree I have to go. You'll be fine." there was a knock on the door Safaree went and answered it while Nicki zipped the other bags. When he opened it the bell hop entered with a suitcase rack. "What the fuck is this Onika?" he said with a scowl on his face.

"Take these on the bed and that one by the door. Is the cab here" she asked the bell boy.

"Yes Ms. Warner."

"Thank you I will be down in a minute." He left. "Safaree I'm going back tonight. I can't see you this way." Safaree now had tears in his eyes. He couldn't believe she was doing this to him. "You are still my best friend and nothing will ever change that."She grabbed her purse. She went to kiss him on the cheek and he pushed her away. She stumbled backwards. She looked at him and walked back up to him. "I love you Safaree."

"Don't lie!" He yelled "You don't love me. If you loved me, if you had any type of LOVE for me you wouldn't be doing this right now. You wouldn't be walking out on us on me." He said.

"Safaree I'm doing this for you. I don't want you to hurt."

"AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING NOW?" He yelled at her.

"Safaree I--" he cut her off.

"JUST GO! THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT. YOU WANNA RUN AWAY FROM US, SO JUST GO!" He opened the door.

"Safaree please--" again she was cut off.

"NO, DON'T "PLEASE" ME! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY FACE ONIKA. I DON'T WANT TO LOOK AT YOU!" he said. Nicki was crying again. She began walking out the door towards the elevator. When the elevator doors opened he yelled out to her. She turned around. "And so we're clear i'm no longer your hypeman." with that he went back in the room and shut the door! She turned around now crying even harder and holding herself. She had lost her best friend because she couldn't get her shit together. She didn't know what she was going to do.
